Marc Pottier is a curator of modern and contemporary art museum exhibitions. Usually they are proposals that he is initiating which are accepted by different cultural institutions. For example he curated the Dan Flavin exhibition at Instituto Light in Rio, Rodchenko at the MAM in São Paulo or a tour in South America of the French artist Erik Samakh’s work. He is presently preparing a photo and video exhibition by contemporary Iranian artists for the next issue of the Brasilia Biennale. This exhibition will travel to Brazil and then to USA.

He also initiates projects from which he becomes the coordinator as happened for the Egypt of the Pharaoh which has been organized with the Louvre (Casa França Brazil in Rio and São Paulo MASP) or Picasso’s ceramics from Bernard Ruiz Picasso’s collection (Casa França Brazil in Rio). Another version of this last exhibition is planned next year to Manama (Kingdom of Bahrain).
